Trout Hunt & multiple day river float
Casa de Campo Lodge
The area between Junín de los Andes and Alumine in Northern Patagonia is the most prolific dry fly fishing region in the world. The variety and abundance of fishable water would allow you to fish a different location each day for more than 100 days. Dry fly fishing is available throughout the entire season, November through May.
During your stay at Casa de Campo Lodge you will experience 2 day float that incorporate overnight camping at our DELUXE RIVERSIDE CAMP. This option is available on several of the larger rivers that we float.
Trip Overview
Our policy is to adjust the program to the guest preferences and fishing styles. However, here you will find an example what a typical program at Casa de Campo looks like.
The program at Casa de Campo we usually split into 2 halfs. The first 4 days of fishing you will trout hunt on the smaller creeks and streams of the area. You will target specific fish, planning the approach with your guide.
The second part is a two day float on one of the major rivers of the area, spending your night at our deluxe riverside camp. This translates in more time in the water with plenty of opportunities.
